Track 1 - Bergmál
An elderly man stands on top of a hill, and looks out at the bright flashes in the distance, the booming of destruction echoing out through the land.
This particular old man, would seem quite normal if you did not have a very good depth perception. Others would notice that he was around 25-feet tall.
He sings a song in his ancient tongue, in remembrance.
Track 2 - Pushing Up Daisies
The Dragon and the Bird reach the old man, who's commonly reffered to as the Giant, and tell him what fate has come to the Bull. He only nods knowingly, and the other two can infer that he was already aware of the recent events. The Giant had long ago fled the cult's domain in order to start a community for those in need of a new life. The land is predominantly rough and does not have many places fit for a hacienda, although the Giant does have one in mind. But, it is ruled by a sorcerous, misanthropic hermit who might prove difficult to talk to.
Track 3 - Fizzwizard
They come to a land barren and uninhabitable. One glance would provide no sign of life to the eyes save for one single tower on a hill. There, lives a man who keeps control of the stretching fields and makes sure no life can thrive there, with eternal darkness and bad weather. The hermit wants no living thing near his abode, and lives therefore in peace and quiet from the troubles of the world. He makes his intentions known, while calling the Giant a "fizzwizard", a conjurer of cheap tricks whom the hermit looks down upon. Although in a literal sense, even at the top of his own tower, he still looks upward to look at him.
Track 4 - From Stasis To Change
After an unsuccessful attempt at collaboration, the Giant leads his people to a nearby valley where they put up camp in the hermit's view. Soon they get a fire going and songs are sung around it.
Such clownery the hermit had never seen.
Although he never believed a society made up of people could ever be peaceful, he saw the support the wandering folk had for each other and started to doubt his own beliefs.
Can you really have a community completely free of corruption?
The hermit decided to approach the giant and have an open-minded discussion.
Track 5 - Sverðbjarmi
Much to the hermit's surprise, the wandering folk welcomed him despite his recent dismay at their arrival. He found the Giant sitting near a bonfire and sat down beside him, wanting to ask him why he even bothers helping anyone at all when everything seems doomed to fail.
The Giant, knowing no way to express his feelings as well as through song, tells a tale in his ancient tongue yet again. And he explains to the hermit that only by fighting injustice indefinitely, can you prevent it from taking over completely.
